Kristen Bell
Queen of Babble is a novel written by Meg Cabot (The Princess Diaries) which has been optioned by Sharp Independent for a film adaptation.
My favorite part of this news, easy, Kristen Bell (Couples Retreat, When in Rome, Fanboys) is going to star as main character Lizzie Nichols. Bell is also set to have a producer’s credit on the flick.
The Queen of Babble stories center around the character of Lizzie Nichols and the people in her life. As there is a series of 3 novels and there hasn’t been an official announcement as far as the film development we are unsure if the movie will cover all three parts or be divided up into multiple flicks.
With a tentative release date of late 2011 there should be more information made available in the near future as far as cast and plot.
And because I can't wait to see Kristen Bell carry a movie I will be keeping everyone updated, I promise.
